The Mexican Milk Snake ranges from South Central Texas into the Mexican States of Tamaulipas, Nuevo Leon and Eastern Coahuila. This harmless and extremely colorful snake reaches an adult length of 24 to 32 inches and is seldom seen except on roadways at night. They feed mainly on small rodents, but lizards, other small snakes, and frogs are also included in their diet.
